Tsunami in Japan - save the world

Japan lies on the "Ring of Fire" - an arc of earthquake and volcanic zones stretching around the Pacific where about 90 percent of the world's quakes occur, including the one that triggered the Dec. 26, 2004, Indian Ocean tsunami that killed an estimated 230,000 people in 12 nations. A magnitude-8.8 temblor that shook central Chile last February also generated a tsunami and killed 524 people.

Now a ferocious tsunami spawned by one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded slammed Japan's eastern coast Friday, killing hundreds of people as it swept away boats, cars and homes while widespread fires burned out of control.

Let us save the world from this upcoming tsunamis, earthquakes, landslides and other natural disasters like , nargis in Mayanmar; 2010 Tsunami in Indian Ocean; Latur earthquake in Maharashtra in India, 2010 Salang avalanches in Afganistan; and many others.

Let us leave the nature on its own:
  • Stop cutting trees save floods.
  • Stop doing nuclear tests under ocean and under the earth crust and save the world from earthquakes.
  • Stop cutting the mountains and making them flat and save landslides.
  • Stop pollution from vehicles and start using public transport instead of own vehicles and save the lives from heart diseases, nausea, eyes problems, respiratory problems and many other diseases.
  • Stop global warming and save the ozone layer depleting.
  • Stop polluting the water bodies and save the lives from the deadly diseases.
If we dont stop our dangerous works against nature then nature will take revenge in the form of :
  • tsunamis - Japan- 2011, Indian ocean-2004
  • earthquakes - Haiti 2010, Latur, Bhuj on 26th Jan
  • floods - Brahmaputra every year,
  • landslides - in india & Pakistan recently, 2010 Gansu landslide in China, 2010 Meager Creek, British COlumbia, Canada
  • cyclones - Nargis 2008 in Myanmar
  • avalanches - Salang in Afghanistan 2010, Kohistan in Pakistan 2010
  • famines - orissa every year (small), north Korean, famous Bengal famine, great Chinese famine
  • volcanic eruptions - Nevado del Ruiz (Armero tragedy) in Columbia in 1985
  • heat waves - 2010 Russian heat waves, 2003 European heat waves
  • tornadoes -  93 in 2011 in USA
  • limnic eruptions - Lake Nyos in 1983
  • storms (non-cyclone) - Rio de Janeiro floods and mudslides 2011
  • breaking of glaciers - it not now it is ............... coming soon
  • wildfires and bush-fires - Black Saturday bushfires in Australia in 2009
  • contractible diseases - sars, plague, Spanish and Asian flus worldwide, smallpox, measles, malaria, aids
  • blizzards - 2008 Chinese and 2008 Afghanistan
  • rains with/without seasons - rain in mumble every year
  • abrupt weather - like ice in desert and heat waves in cold regions, change in weather triangles.
Lastly we can pray to god for the peace of souls of dead; for the lost to be found;  health to the injured and wounded and life to all in world.

Final word - live and let live
